Inventory Valuation
What the stock is worth, and which cost says so.
Each part is valued the way it says to be valued — standard, weighted average, or last paid. A manufacturer standard-costs its own output and averages bought-in material, so forcing one method across the shop would make half the numbers wrong. Quantities come from the bins, which are what the warehouse actually holds.

Parts appear here once there is a balance in a bin. Until costing is set up they are valued at the part's standard cost, exactly as they were before.
